My THIRD convention
In the heart of Liverpool, at our third World Bowie Convention, Janine and I reunited with our “Bowie family”—the Cygnet Committee. Starting in London felt like a pilgrimage, roaming Bowie’s favorite haunts, indulging in iconic shopping, and dining in pure London style. The convention was pure stardust, from reconnecting with Carlos to listening to legends like Ken Scott and Keanan Dufty. Our radiant emcee, Hannah Bershard, kept the vibe electric over three days, and the final dinner with our beloved Bowie freaks was unforgettable, especially with Woody Woodmansey of the Spiders From Mars sharing tales. No 2025 convention dims the glow, but I’m already ready for London in the fall of 2025 for the grand opening of the David Bowie Centre via the V&A East Storehouses.
